African Energy at the Africa Energy Forum

African Energy

CbI is sending a senior African Energy team to Copenhagen for the Africa Energy Forum (6-8 June), one of the largest and most established high-level power sector meetings in the calendar.

Nick Dashwood-Brown, African Energy's Head of Sales will be providing pre-launch demonstrations of our new African Energy Live Data service, a comprehensive guide to power plants across the continent.

Featuring more than 3,500 power plants that are operational, planned, or under construction, African Energy Live Data is the product of years of meticulous research by African Energy’s senior staff.

Live Data doesn't deal with rumour. Data is sourced from across Africa – tapping into African Energy’s on-the-ground network in more than 40 African countries – and is subjected to the same rigorous editorial and verification processes that have driven our consultancy and newsletter reporting and analysis over the last two decades.

Containing technical, operational and commercial project level information including, but not limited to, installed and available capacity, fuel types, ownership, financing and shareholdings, African Energy has over many years used this database to provide clients with deep-dive analysis of power generation assets throughout Africa.

  • Identify opportunities with analysis of fundamentals and vital electricity statistics.
  • Keep ahead of the industry with timely and reliable project bulletins.
  • Plan for the future with analysis of the project pipeline
  • Track regional and continental trends and home in on the projects, financiers and institutions behind them.

If you would like a demonstration of the service, please contact Nick on the details below.

Analysts from our consultancy team will also be present, alongside senior editorial staff who will be conducting interviews and meeting with industry sources and reporting back for the next issue of African Energy's newsletter.
