SOCO International: Name change
London-listed SOCO International announced on 11 September that it is proposing to change its name to Pharos Energy plc. SOCO has pulled out of Block V in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and Marine XI in Republic of Congo and refocused its activities to concentrate on Egypt and Vietnam. The name change will require approval from shareholders of the London-listed company at a general meeting.
