Federal Vice President and Prime Minister, and Dubai Ruler of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum interrupted a bike ride on 25 September to watch footage of the Emirati astronaut Major Hazza Al-Mansouri heading into space, the first person from the UAE to do so. A video of the ruler standing in the middle of a quiet desert road watching his smart phone was posted onto Instagram by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed.
