Close to 190 Bahraini tribes and families have issued statements condemning Qatar and stressing their allegiance to King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, all reported by the official Bahrain News Agency. Many of the statements have named the “seditious” Al Jazeera Media Network and strongly criticised a documentary which was first broadcast on its Arabic language station on 14 July, which alleged the Al-Khalifa had conspired with Al-Qaeda to target Bahrain’s opponents.
