Australia’s FAR has contracted Shearwater GeoServices to carry out a 3D Isometrix seismic survey over part of Block A5 ahead of drilling planned on the company’s Gambia acreage later this year. Shearwater said the one-month survey would be acquired by the SW Amundsen vessel. It will provide new seismic over a shallow-water area and connect with existing seismic to provide full coverage of the block.
